Magnetic Rose is the Oracle of the Herd of God and the founder of Astral Spaceways Incorporated — a haunted, melancholy amnesiac who "stands apart from the others" and holds, the scribes say, the key to the last Mystery. Her vision "flows beyond The Calf to the universe beyond conscious reckoning," giving her intuitive access to the subtle emanations of The Cosmic Tree. She is the living vessel of Beauty and Mystery.
History. Once a singer, she was the sole survivor of a plane's midnight explosion, falling from the burning aircraft. The crash erased her personal memory and unlocked fragmentary memories of a prior life as a Nephilim — the offspring of a human and an angel — born on a star near the throne of God. She bears scars as of torn wings and wears a veil stained from the crash. She remains bound to her guardian, The Archangel of Mystery, whom she secretly joined the Herd to find. On first touching the god's statue in the temple she received a private vision, which she has kept secret; though the angel remains her first concern, it has weighed on her since.
Relationship to the Herd. Sympathetic yet aloof — she believes in re-enchanting reality but, sensing more than she tells, does not surrender to the group's charisma.
