The Bull Protest was Duncan Horst's first public act after The Wall Street Transmission. Seized by the revelation, he interrupted a stakeholder meeting in what the scribes call "a fugue of incandescent oratory" and led a swelling crowd to the bronze bull, in the manner of Lord George Gordon, intending to free the calf from its financial servitude. The attempt failed; Horst was removed, and shortly after was exiled from the world of finance entirely — "exiled from Empire." The failure inaugurated The Four-Year Wandering.
