The Temple is the sanctuary of the Herd of God, built with funds from Michael Enlightened and the site of The Rite of Ascent. The eight angels are said to line its walls, sleeping, surrounding the statue of The Calf. It was here, on first touching the statue, that Magnetic Rose received her vision of the god's death.
